Continuous Improvement Engineer (CNC)
Location: Near Warwick
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum DoE
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy driving process improvements? We're seeking a highly motivated Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our client near Warwick. In this role, you will play a vital part in optimising production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
Continuous Improvement Engineer Responsibilities:
- Ensure production orders are 'machine ready' to maintain schedule adherence.
- Lead CI projects from start to finish, reporting and handing over to operations.
- Promote lean principles and actively seek opportunities for process enhancement.
- Support new project transitions to production and assist with DFM and PFMEA.
- Mentor operators to foster an improvement culture on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers to improve manufacturing metrics.
Continuous Improvement Engineer Profile:
- Proven experience in a machine shop environment with strong CNC knowledge
- Experience in precision manufacturing or automotive/aerospace industries
- Knowledge of gear form manufacturing and CAD/CAM programming is an advantage
- Hands-on problem-solving skills and a drive for continuous improvement
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies and quality frameworks
- Data analysis skills and proficiency in PC applications
