Content Manager – up to £35k– Chelmsford, Essex (Office-based)

The Role

We are on the hunt for a driven Content Manager to anchor our content division at Big Business Events, located in the bustling heart of Chelmsford. This role is not just a job—it's a calling for someone who thrives on shaping narratives and crafting compelling content that resonates and engages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our company’s objectives and brand identity.
  • Manage a team of content creators, overseeing content development across multiple platforms, including social media, community groups, and videos.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools to gauge reach, engagement, and effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments to content strategies.
  • Manage content schedules, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring timely execution and quality control.
  • Mentor and develop team members through coaching.

The Person

  • A background in MarComms, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in content creation or marketing, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Proficient in social media platforms, trends, engagement, and lead-generation tactics.
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Leadership, communication, and collaborative skills.
