Job Description

We are seeking a Video Content Creator to join our Social Media team in London. This role is part of our marketing tribe at Wise and as the Content Creator, you will be responsible for leading the production of engaging videos that contribute to our goal of acquiring new users and building brand recognition and creating incredible content.

Your mission:

As a member of the social media team, you will play a crucial role in driving creative output and achieving outstanding results. Your mission is to deliver exceptional video content both long and short-form that attract eyeballs and in turn help us attract new customers.

In this role you'll:
  • Effectively own the production and distribution of all short-form vertical video content that will go on our TikTok, Instagram and YouTube shorts.
  • This means you will focus on the entire video production cycle end-to-end, from planning & pre-production to post-production (you will have an editor to support you).
  • You will be able to generate high-output of vertical social-first content that aims to deliver performance-based results.
  • You will be able report on performance across the channels you manage and work with our YouTube content creator to plan and scale our video output.
  • Play a lead role at short-form content ideation and execution. Ensuring we are maximising our total video output in the most effective manner. I.e - Taking long-form videos and creating micro-content that is social-ready.
  • You are able to create an array of content styles, including (but not limited to); meme's, video carousels, reactive trends, infographics, and more...
  • Communicate with the Compliance team to confirm that all your video content aligns with regulations and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

What makes you a good fit:
  • 3+ years experience as a content creator in a professional environment, or you've had prolonged (5+ years) success on your own.
  • Previous experience on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms that favour vertical content.
  • In-depth knowledge of the TikTok editor, iphone editing skills, and understanding of Adobe Suite - You should also be familiar with picture editing software, such as Figma
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
  • Humility. You will need to have a willingness to learn and grow. You'll be joining a fast-paced company, so being adaptable too is a major key.
  • Willingness to be a part of a team. This role requires strong communication skills.
