Consumer PR Account Manager
Central Employment are delighted to be working with a multi award-winning and recognisable PR, Social and Creative agency in Manchester, as they look to appoint a Consumer PR Account Manager.
Consumer PR Account Manager profile:
Overall responsibility is to ensure that results are delivered – and is the first point of contact for media enquiries. They will flawlessly manage projects from start to finish. The account manager oversees the workload of the team and must be able to spot potential danger points on the account.
Consumer PR Account Manager duties:
- Takes responsibility for the delivery of and smooth running of retained client accounts and project work, has a good understanding of all the team activities carried out on behalf of all clients, regardless of who runs the account
- Ensures smooth and accurate client reporting (on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis)
- Is the main day-to-day client contact, responsible for overseeing all ongoing client activity / project work
- Takes an active role in preparing proposals for both new and existing clients
- Takes the lead in organising and managing client meetings including ensuring agendas are prepared accurately and circulated in advance of meetings; that the most junior team member in each meeting is accountable for taking notes and writing them up; and circulating a contact report with clear actions within 24 hours
- Leads agenda points in meetings and commands the respect and trust of clients as their first point-of-contact for specific projects
- Assigns junior team responsibilities on each of account and takes responsibility for the successful delivery of each individual piece of account activity
- Develops skills as a ‘trusted consultant’ by building deeper relationships with clients based on knowledge of their business and sector and own ability to guide and advise them
Experience required:
- 3+ yrs in Consumer PR, managing client accounts
- Proven track record of delivering successful PR campaigns and achieving measurable results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a flair for creativity.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Solid understanding of the media landscape and evolving PR trends.
