A global Insurance Broking company is currently recruiting for a Consumer Duty Officer (12 Month FTC) to join their London team.

ROLE PURPOSE:To support in enhancing, maintaining and implementing the firm's overarching Consumer Duty and Product Governance Framework, including overall governance and oversight, risk management, management reporting, systems, controls, policies, procedures and employee awareness and training. The job holder will develop business relationships and work alongside the Senior Management and other key stakeholders to support in ensuring that it has appropriate and effective understanding, interpretation, application, and implementation of regulatory expectations within its consumer duty and product governance obligations in the first line. The individual will be the primary point of contact for supporting development of our approach to Information Requests, FVAs, Product Approvals,Distribution Impact Assessments and other related activities as directed by Senior Management and in line with any other additional guidance. To support in enhancing and maintaining the firm's Consumer Duty and Product Governance oversight framework, including design of appropriate management information packs, which enable the oversight of the delivery of good outcomes and fair value to customers.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE SKILLS/BEHAVIOURS QUALIFICATIONSMust be knowledgeable about regulatory expectations with regard to Consumer Duty and Product Governance and the implementation of appropriate systems and controls across different business profile types. Experience of operating in the compliance department of a public company in the UK regulatory environment. Commercial awareness and focus on the application of regulation within the insurance broking industry. Proven track record in designing, developing and implementing operational systems, solutions, policies and procedures Experienced in delivering presentations and training workshops to a variety of audiences
