The Construction Project Manager Role

The successful Construction Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing the delivery of projects, ensuring high-quality service is maintained throughout all phases. This role offers the unique opportunity to work across a wide variety of sectors, providing extensive exposure and professional growth.

Key Requirements

• Developing project plans and agreeing on any changes or enhancements with stakeholders.
• Liaising with stakeholders to clearly define project requirements.
• Managing risks and ensuring project administration is handled efficiently.
• Overseeing all aspects of project planning, from development to execution.

The Construction Project Manager

• A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying, or a related field.
• MRICS, CIOB, or APM qualification, or the intention to become qualified.
• Experience in managing a variety of construction projects within a consultancy environment.
• Exceptional communication, listening, and presentation skills.
• Confidence in mentoring junior team members.
• The ability to make decisive decisions and remain calm under pressure.
