We are currently seeking a Construction Design Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working flexibly between 7am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The Role

As a Construction Design Manager, you will ensure the smooth-running of our contracts processes in order to maximise our profits.

Ensuring a quality service for our customers, you will manage the programming, commercial aspects and resources needed for our projects.

You will create and release designs to customers and our manufacturing partners, review project specifications, estimate costs, maintain a production schedule and important documents as well as work with a variety of internal and external teams.

Additionally, you will:

- Arrange and prepare presentations
- Upload drawings to the supplier systems
- Update monthly reports

About You

To be considered as a Construction Design Manager, you will need:

- A minimum of a year’s experience in a similar role which balances design with project and contract management, including contract and commercial negotiation, project administration, management, reporting, quality, and health and safety standards
- A minimum of one year’s experience of working effectively within a construction environment
- Proficiency with MS Office; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Visio
- The ability to use construction and/or project management software
- Good 2-D CAD Design skills and ideally some 3-D experience
- Any experience within the facade or balcony industry would be beneficial to your application
