Completions Assistant
Our client is looking for a Completions Assistant to join their well established and supportive team in Guildford. This role is a good opportunity for a law graduate who has some previous Residential Conveyancing experience and is looking to take on that next step in their legal career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting completion teams with workload.
- Dealing with lender’s requirements after completion, dealing with deeds after completion and closing files.
- Liaising with clients & lenders prior to completion to finalise accounts and to generally deal with completion of a transaction.
- Redeeming lender’s charges, balances to clients and settling estate agents’ fees after completion.
- Dealing with Department administrative tasks.
- Preparing and submitting relevant legal documents.
- Using the Land Registry.
Desired skills:
- Experience with working on Residential Conveyancing transactions for at least 1 year. This is not essential but is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail & organisation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confident with using Word, Outlook, Excel etc.
What they offer:
- Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm in the office.
- 23 days’ holiday per annum (plus 3 allocated days at Christmas).

- Salary depending on experience up to £25,000.
