Complaints Handler | Insurance | Gibraltar | Competitive Market Salary | Office Based

Complaints Handler required for a successful motor insurance company based in Gibraltar. As the Complaints Handler you will investigate and respond to Underwriting complaints in a professional manner, ensuring the customers receive fair and swift resolutions.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Communicate with company complainants via email and phone.
  • Log and keep accurate records of all complaints received.
  • Produce reports and analysis from complaints data.
  • Respond to and redirect emails received to the Complaints inbox.
  • Work closely with claims handlers, brokers and other complaints handlers to resolve complaints and produce reports.
  • Cooperate with the FOS to resolve complaints escalated to the service.
  • Ensure regulatory expectations and timelines are adhered to.
  • Assist the Underwriting team with ad hoc broker and claims referrals and other day to day administrative tasks.

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role

  • Experience in motor insurance and customer support.
  • Knowledge of Consumer Duty, Consumer Insurance Act, and the Insurance Act.
  • Excellent letter writing skills and telephone manner.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Attention to detail and good administration skills.
  • PC literature and knowledge of Microsoft office programs, such as Word and Excel.
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently.
