Duration: 4-5 months initially, potential extensions
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience (Inside IR35)
Hours: Full time - 5 days per week
Location: West Midlands
Our client is currently looking for a Commissioning Officer to provide commissioning and project oversight for the Household Support Fund.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the commissioning requirements and contract for the programme
- Monitor the budget
- To report write and update partners
- Partnership working
- Complete financial returns to evidence impact and outcomes
- Create and lead on development action plans
- Create a risk log
- Promotion of the programme where required
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS- children’s – if you do not have a DBS, one can be processed
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills at all levels, and with stakeholders
- Experience and understanding of commissioning services
- Experience in negotiating service delivery requirements
- Experience of contract setting processes
- Experience of report writing and data analysis
- Experience of Quality assurance
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Possess good partnership working skills
- Attention to detail
