As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be inspecting and commissioning large industrial machinery.  Using your mechanical and electrical knowledge to ensure the units go out in full working order.

Your role will involve a mix of working at the factory in Stoke on Trent and at clients' locations on-site across the UK, commissioning the units, with this, overnight stays may be required.

This role will involve UK travel and requires a full UK driving licence.

What you’ll do
  • Commission and oversee the installation of equipment, systems and facilities on a client's site and in the factory
  • Ensuring that all new machinery and equipment are fitted properly and function at optimum capacity to meet the client's needs
  • Troubleshooting and servicing a vast range of industrial machinery identifying mechanical and electrical faults
What you’ll need:
  • A background in mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of PLC’s
  • The ability to diagnose, strip back and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Be able to stay away from home when required
What you’ll get:
  • A negotiable salary of up to £50,000
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours
