My client,runs several HGV and Light Commercial Vehicle franchises across Kent, selling new and used trucks and vans, offering an all makes parts and service back up with ancillary services from the Paint and Body-shop, with a reputation for high quality and professionalism

They are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician to join their ever expanding team in DUNTON GREEN, Ideally you will come from either a similar background or be able to demonstrate very transferable skills,i.e. Buses, Movable Plant or Refuse lorries.

Whilst qualifications, City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 are preferred my client will also consider time served candidates.

General Purpose of Role:
To service and repair commercial motor vehicles in a safe, economical, and timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction

Duties include:

  • Servicing
  • Maintenance
  • Repairs
  • MOT Preparation

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. Whilst a mechanical skill set is essential you will also need to complete some administration, so basic computer skills would also be advantageous.

An HGV licence is not essential as training will be given to the right candidates

Hours. Rotating shift.

  • WK1 Monday - Friday 6.00am - 3.30pm
  • WK2 Monday - Friday 10.30am - 7.00pm

Weekday overtime at fixed rate

Saturday work is available at 1.5x hourly rate
