Reporting office: Surrey

Hybrid Home Working - minimum requirement of 2 days per month

Our client - a well-known UK Underwriting business with international connections, are actively looking to recruit an experienced technical Commercial Combined Underwriter for their specialist Hazardous Goods, Petrochemical and Environmental team.

Although this role is based in Surrey, candidates based nationally will be considered with requirement to be based in the reporting office twice a month.

You will be working on cases from £20,000 - £100,000 GWP.

This job will be an ongoing learning programme where you will have the opportunity to develop into the role of Senior Underwriter in time should you wish to.

As this role requires NO previous experience in writing Petrochemical or Hi Hazard risks this could be an attractive role for a general Underwriter who is seeks a little bit more of a challenge in day to day risk assessment.

Full training will be provided.

  • 'Cando’ approach with a 'creatingsolutions’ underwriting mindset
