COMMERCIAL MANAGER QUANTITY SURVEYOR / GP SURVEYOR

COMMERCIAL MANAGER (QUANTITY SURVEYOR / GP SURVEYOR) - LONDON OR BIRMINGHAM - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - £550 - £600 PER DAY

ARM are working with a major railway client and we are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager with a QS or GP Surveying background to join the team on a contract basis in either London or Birmingham.

About You:
* You will either be an experienced: Commercial Manager as a QS or GP Surveyor within Land and Property.
* Your background will have been within rail or highways or major infrastructure or utilities.
* You will have legal knowledge and able to draft contracts and variations.
* Your experience will also include project management exposure.

What you will be doing:
This position will focus on asset owners (3rd parties) and will be negotiating agreements for access or diversions of their assets, which will help deliver the railway project. This position is likely to focus on transition and handover but will also support others. Asset owners include Network Rail, National Highways, Local Authorities and Utility companies.

This position can be based in either London or Birmingham (whichever is closest to you) and is working using the hybrid method with 2 days in the office and 3 working from home. This is offered as an initial 6 month contract.

What you can expect in return:
The rate for this position is between £550 and £600 per day (Umbrella) and is inside IR35.
