Heels & Brogues Group are working with one of our top clients to expand the Commercial Gas Engineer team in the North East.

We are looking for an experienced Gas engineer fitter working across several client sites, carrying out commercial & industrial Gas Service & maintenance.

Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

Location- Newcastle (NE1)

Salary:£42,000 - £45,000 (Depending on experience)

Benefits:

  • 22 days, plus bank holidays

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (38 hours)
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Gas: 3 years (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and scheduled maintenance on commercial and industrial gas systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Install, repair, and maintain gas-related equipment and systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and standards in the installation and maintenance of gas systems, maintaining accurate documentation of activities.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, providing updates on maintenance activities and addressing inquiries or concerns regarding gas system performance.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as gas leaks or system failures, implementing emergency response plans to mitigate risks and ensure safety.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised Gas qualified certificates.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Gas Engineer Installations.
  • Working on sites.
