Commercial Fire and Security Engineer

Commercial Fire & Security Engineer required for our client, a well established Fire and Security company who are now looking for an experienced engineer to join their fantastic service team and will undertake the routine and corrective maintenance of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Alarm systems within the commercial sector, whilst also being part of the emergency call out rota.

Commercial Fire and Security Engineer Position Remuneration

• £33,000 - £38,000 DOE
• 8:30-5pm (Mon - Fri)
• 23 days + 8BH

Commercial Fire and Security Engineer Position Overview

• Servicing, fault finding and performing corrective maintenance on fire alarms, aspiration, emergency lights, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems for mostly commercial / public sector customers.
• Small works installing extra equipment onto existing systems plus upgrading existing panels.
• Mostly working alone as part of a larger service team liaising with other engineers, the Technical Support Manager and the Service Manager.
• The majority of your work will be within Warwickshire, Leicestershire and the West Midlands. Over 95% of your work will be within 30 miles of CV11.

Commercial Fire and Security Engineer Position Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' experience
• Extensive experience on Intruder Alarms and CCTV
• Understanding of Access Control, Emergency lights, Fire Alarms, Door Entry & Aspiration
• Experience with Intruder equipment such as: Honeywell, Galaxy, Visonic etc
• Experience with CCTV equipment such as: Concept Pro & Hikvision (both analogue and IP)
• Within 25 miles of CV11
• Work well within a team or individually
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Enhanced DBS check (desirable but will have to be completed upon joining)
