Commercial Disputes Associate
This distinguished global law firm specialize exclusively in disputes, with offices spanning the US, UK, and the EU and are renowned for their innovative approach.
They are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Disputes Associate with outstanding academic credentials to join their case teams in a client-facing capacity.
About You
- The ideal candidate will have experience in general commercial disputes with exposure to competition law or pure competition litigation.
- Proficiency in English Civil Procedure is essential.
- Candidates should possess strong project management abilities, excel as team players, and demonstrate a readiness to assume significant autonomy and responsibility.
- Experience in client-facing roles is preferred
- Proficiency in European languages is advantageous, with opportunities for international work readily available.
Responsibilities:
- Play an integral role in managing a portfolio of cases across various industry sectors within the commercial disputes practice.
- Interact with external counsel, economists, and funders.
- Handle and oversee claims during the pre-litigation phase, including the preparation of claim forms, particulars of claim, and engagement in pre-action protocol correspondence and discussions.
- Lead large-scale disclosure exercises.
- Prepare witness evidence, assist experts in preparing analysis and reports, and support in pursuing interim applications.
- Participate in settlement negotiations at all stages of litigation.
