Commercial / Contract Manager
Exciting career opportunity for an adept Commercial / Contract Manager, preferably with a background in the electrical / utilities sector, to join the team located in the Rugby office. The company stands as a leading expert in the electrical contracting sector, offering installation, service, and maintenance solutions for both LV and HV systems.
As the Commercial / Contracts Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Understanding and mutually agreeing upon contract terms and conditions
- Identifying potential project risks during tender phases
- Ensuring comprehension and adherence to T&C's by project teams
- Providing technical support in Contract Administration
- Collaborating with Sales and Project teams to aid in bid response preparation
- Overseeing tender processes to ensure timely submission of bid responses with necessary approvals secured
- Assisting Business Managers with P&L, budgeting, and overall commercial oversight of projects
- Supporting project teams in cost and risk management to enhance efficiency and project performance
- Reviewing project processes and procedures for compliance to ensure high-quality project delivery and customer satisfaction

Required experience for Commercial / Contracts Manager:
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience, encompassing contract terms and conditions, budgeting, and cost control
- Preferably possess robust experience in the power generation sector (including renewables, steam, gas, oil, etc.)
- Proficient negotiation skills and experience
- Proven track record in Project & Commercial Management
- Strong interpersonal skills, fostering team motivation and a culture of collaboration
- Commercial or legal qualifications would be advantageous.
