We are working with an established insurance broker on the outskirts of Doncaster as they look to add an experienced Commercial Account Handler to their team after having one of their best years on record.

They are looking for someone that will work closely with the Commercial Manager in relation to the servicing and retention of their long standing and new clients.

Role:

  • You will be a part of the commercial broking team, supporting direct clients and ones associated with an Account Executive
  • You will be responsible for an existing portfolio which is made up by clients with premiums ranging from £10,000 to £250k+
  • Handling and broking of new business and renewals, processing any MTA’s and managing any claims alongside the dedicated team
  • The portfolio is made up by a very broad range of industry sectors including Retailers, Manufacturers, Engineers, Construction and Property Owners
  • You will be using the Acturis system on a daily basis for all general tasks

Experience:

  • You will have at least 3 years’ experience in commercial insurance broking
  • You will possess all around commercial knowledge, such as Property Owners, PI, Combined & D&O and have handled premiums above £10,000 on a regular basis
  • Ideally be Cert CII qualified

In return there is a salary up to £40,000 and a benefits package which includes 25 days holiday, pension contribution, support for professional qualifications, annual bonuses, free on-site parking at their office in Doncaster and hybrid working with up to 2 days from home.
