CNC setter/operator
DCS Engineering recruitment are curruntly supporting one of our clients in Lancashire who due to continued growth and expansion are looking to add to their CNC offering.
Our customer is well established in the market and are offering a very competative package for slkilled CNC turners who can programme,set and operate.
Essential Skills:
- HNC Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Program set and operate CNC machine tools.
- Ability to use Fanuc controls.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Reliably inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Document and develop production processes where required.
Preferable:
- Experience using Alphacam or similar software.
- Working with plastics and CNC routers.

The Candidate:
We are looking for a Team player with a positive attitude towards colleagues and lean practices. The ideal candidate will share the values of the business, putting the customer central to what they do, and be determined to set high standards in their work.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and work in all aspects of our production operations, including 3- and 5-axis routing.
Hours are 8.00 till 5.00 Mon to Thursday and early finish on Fridays.
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum Skills and experience are taken into account.
