Temporary to Permanent opportunity for a CNC Programmer
Pay Rate of up to £15.00 per hour
Hours of work 0700-1600 Monday to Friday

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer and Setter looking for a new opportunity? We are working with a well-established business in Central Birmingham who manufacture and distribute industrial steel fittings, vales, pipes, and other alloys successfully supplying customers across the Birmingham area.

The duties for CNC Programmer will include:

Programming CNC milling machines and lathes using manual programming and Autodesk CADCAM software where required.
Setting, Programming and operating both CNC and other machinery to produce parts from bespoke one-offs to small batch work.
Operating robot welders.
Reading from technical plans and drawings.
Handling products in the most appropriate way to eliminate waste, damage in line with health and safety hazards.
Carrying out quality inspection of parts.
Assisting other team members and departments when available.

Skills and experience required for the CNC Programmer role:

Previous CNC programming and setting experience.
Milling and Turning experience on both CNC and manual machines is required.
The ability to use measuring tools efficiently.
