As a Clinical Team Leader, you will lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care at Barnet Lane Clinic providing specialised services for people with mental illness including those diagnosed with a personality disorder.

With previous experience from the NHS or private sector, you will be responsible for the clinical environment and managing the clinical services throughout the wards and units.

As a Clinical Team Leader you will be:

  • Accountable for the safe and effective clinical and operational functioning of a defined unit
  • Providing clinical leadership to a defined staff group
  • Providing support, guidance and supervision to staff
  • Developing and create an environment that supports competent ethical nursing care
  • Influencing work objectives, planning and organisation
  • Developing and implement strategies to facilitate effective communication pathways

 To be successful you will have:

  • Relevant experience as RMN/RNMH
  • Professional training in a similar environment
  • Recognised mentorship certification and an NVQ Assessor Qualification
  • Administrative, planning and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of the organisational policies and procedures

Where you will be working:

Location: Barnet Lane, Elstree, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, WD6 3QU

You’ll be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team at Barnet Lane Clinic, which is a 30-bed rehabilitation service for people with a mental illness including those diagnosed with a personality disorder.

You will work with individuals who may have had placement breakdowns and need intensive review and support to help them move to more independent living, with a focus on supporting people build a better quality of life for themselves and equip them with the skills needed for community living, supportive relationships, and increased independence.
