Fantastic opportunity for an experienced apheresis Clinical Nurse Specialist to join a CQC "outstanding" rated State of the art Cancer Centre in London.

Contract: Full time. Monday to Friday.

As an expereinced Apheresisi Clinical Nurse Specialist working as part of the growing haematology Cancer Nursing Team, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care,you will play an important role in leading the development of the apheresis unit. You will take responsibility for the operational delivery of the apheresis service.

You will be support the nursing teams to develop knowledge and skills in haematology-oncology specialist nursing and education of patients and families with compassion and expertise.

Skills & Experience:

  • Essential: Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin
  • Essential Minimum of 3 years Post registration experience within haematology or oncology setting.
  • Essential: Specialist training/qualification in Stem cell Transport.
  • Desirable: leadership experience
  • Mentor and Preceptor experience
  • Motivated and forward thinking individual.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Evidence of understanding service development and improvement.
