Client Services Associate, Asset Management

This highly reputable global asset manager based in the heart of the City, has an opportunity for a dynamic Client Services Account Manager to join their accomplished team. In this rare and exciting opportunity, you will support the UK & EMEA Sales Executives and Client Relationship Managers, and their respective insurance and pension fund clients.

The ideal candidate will be adept at acting as first point of contact for existing & prospective clients working in a hybrid Client Servicing/Sales Support role. This role will allow you to blend your strong client servicing and analytical skills to support new business opportunities. In this role you will engage extensively and support senior stakeholders to help drive the RFP process for new client acquisition, including conducting competitor data analysis and leading and hoc marketing projects. As a key point of contact for institutional clients, you will take ownership of resolving technical client queries which often relate to portfolio type queries, trading costs, attribution and benchmark queries, for example. You will also host on-site and VC client meetings and ensure exceptional client service delivery through phone and email engagements.

Ideally, candidates will come from a fixed income client servicing background. However, those with multi-asset experience with a good understanding of fixed income concepts, are also encouraged to apply. In this role you will gain in-depth knowledge of fixed income products and financial regulations in the UK and EMEA.

To be considered, candidates will bring approximately 1-2 years of client servicing experience from an asset management firm, alongside a degree qualification. A hunger for growth and a commitment to becoming a Fixed Income Subject-Matter Expert are essential.

IMC/CFA qualifications would be advantageous. However, those willing to complete the IMC or CFA within 6 months of joining will be considered.
