Client Executive Job in Bournemouth

Our well established and thriving client based in Bournemouth are recruiting a Client Executive. The Client Executive role will develop towards a client manager position. As a Client Executive, you will support the Client Manager to achieve profitable sales and distribution of the clients’ products within the UK, in line with clients’ and company objectives and operating standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage trade activity spends
  • Management of client trade spend, ensuring all trade invoices are documented
  • Management of trade sales reports with trends and gap analysis
  • Manage the budget and forecast documents
  • Work with CBM’s to ensure that key operational documents are up to date
  • Preparation and participation in client review meetings.
  • Provide the salesforce with:
  • Gap analysis
  • Relevant trade presentations and sales aids
  • Regular sales updates (both YOY and vs target)
  • Provide a rolling 12-month sales forecast to supply chain and clients
  • Achieve key business objectives as agreed with the Client Manager
  • To carry out any other reasonable task or tasks in connection with the job function, as requested by the Client Manager.
  • Coordinate with Client Managers to provide materials -including point of sale and samples for clients, customers and organising trade shows.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience within FMCG
  • Experience of working in a faced paced commercial environment
  • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
  • Good standard of general education, including Maths and English
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and forecast accordingly.
  • The ability to use excel to an intermediate level in order interpret sales data and create reports for the client
  • To ability to use PowerPoint to an intermediate level in order to help create compelling presentations for both customers and clients.
  • The ability to autonomously manage and prioritise your own workload in order to ensure accuracy, attention to detail and that deadlines are met as agreed.
  • The ability to develop and maintain relevant and current knowledge of the industry.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with internal colleagues and external clients, customers and suppliers.
