Client Director - Funds
An established and growing fund services provider is currently seeking a Client Director to oversee client-facing fund administration and accounting teams comprising 20+ staff. This role presents an exciting opportunity to drive the delivery of the business strategy, lead projects and process improvements, and contribute to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: The Client Director will guide the delivery of fund services to clients, ensuring adherence to high-quality, accurate, and timely service standards in line with established procedures.
- Executive Authority: Acting as an "A" signatory and Director, the incumbent will provide governance over both regulated and unregulated client entities, instilling trust in operational integrity.
- Client Engagement: Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, the Client Director will foster relationships and support client-facing teams in delivering exceptional service experiences.
- Business Development: The role involves driving the execution of the new business strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and advancing within the industry.
- Process Optimisation: Leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, the Client Director will champion projects and refine workflows to ensure optimal performance.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring strict adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, mitigating risk and safeguarding the firm’s reputation.
- Team Leadership and Development: Providing inspirational leadership to the team of fund services professionals, offering guidance, mentorship, and training opportunities for growth.
- Performance Management: Monitoring and evaluating team performance, proactively addressing issues, and implementing corrective measures to maintain excellence.
Qualifications:
- Extensive Experience: The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in fund services, with a deep understanding of fund administration and accounting principles.
- Leadership Acumen: Demonstrating a proven track record of effective leadership and management, the candidate will inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an attention to detail, will enable the candidate to navigate complex challenges with precision.
