Class 2 Driver/HIAB

Class 2 HGV Crane/HIAB Driver sought by local Steel Fabrication Company.

Must have HIAB/ Crane licence or has had a HIAB/Crane licence which has expired.

The Role:

You’ll deliver the company’s materials products in and around the South East Your duties will include:

• Complying with all drivers hours and Road Transport Directive legislation
• Carrying out all necessary checks to ensure vehicle is safe and legal and to follow appropriate procedures if it is not.

The successful HGV Driver will have:

• Full HGV licence with no more than 3 points (with no previous DD/IN convictions)
• HIAB licence
• Full and valid CPC qualifications
• Knowledge of driving legislation particularly tachograph requirements
• Physically fit and with a good level of literacy
• Good planning skills and the ability to show initiative and a strong positive attitude
• Communication skills and the ability to form good relationships with customers
• Responding effectively to achieve branch targets and performance goals
• Self-motivated with the drive to achieve required standards and goals
