CLASS 1 NIGHT DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 18.00 STARTS

16.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are looking for a Class 1 Night Driver for our Client based in Old Dalby.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

  • Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo is secured properly
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

  • Hold a valid UK C+E Licence (CLASS 1)
  • Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving a C+E vehicles
  • No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes
  • Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
  • Must be able to speak and read a certain level of English
  • Experience operating various trailer types
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines

Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.
