This is what you'll be doing
As a Claims Handler, your duties and responsibilities will be as follows:-
- Reviewing insurance policy terms and investigating potential issues.
- Assisting insured professionals in responding to complaints and claims.
- Negotiating settlements within delegated authority.
- Managing caseload to avoid unnecessary litigation and ensure effective resolution.
The experience you'll bring to the team
You will bring the following experience to the Claims Handling team:-
- Previous experience in claims with technical knowledge and expertise.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Good decision-making skills and ability to prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally experience with a case management system.
