Claims Executive / Full time / Permanent / Hybrid / Bedford

My client, a well-recognised insurance organisation, are looking for an experienced Claims Executive to join them on a full-time basis in their Bedford office. Within this role you will handle claims from cradle to grave and ensure clients are kept informed on the progress of their claim. As a Claims Executive you will develop relationships with a number of stakeholders and should be experienced in a similar role.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Attend clients premises when there is a case of a large or complex loss and provide comprehensive knowledge in regards to their claim and settlement
  • Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders including insurers and loss adjusters
  • Communicate throughout the clients claims journey and ensure the team are kept up to date with any relevant information
  • Provide advice and promote the service on offer within the claims team alongside keeping up to date with any new products or services
  • Provide claims reports for the renewal team and attend client meetings
Essential skills and criteria:
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of general insurance classes
  • Cert CII qualified or currently studying for the qualification (desirable)
  • Strong technical insurance ability
  • Previous experience in working with clients with excellent skills in customer service
  • Able to prioritise and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail and efficiency
Package:
  • £50,000 base salary
