Support Worker

Location: Leeds

Position: Days - Full time / Part time available

Pay: £11.44- £16.70

We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to work in Headingley and the surrounding areas. You will be supporting children in mainstream residential units and learning disability homes.

We are seeking patient, kind and resilient Support Workers to assist the young people with their everyday tasks including being involved (and enjoying!) the activities they like. There may also be very occasional personal care.

The Role

• Supporting with personal care if needed on occasion / manual handling
• Supporting with medication
• Supporting with general tasks such as cleaning, cooking & Laundry
• Encouraging and supporting to get involved in activities

Shifts can vary but we can offer days, nights and sleep in's

We're looking for people who can be as flexible as possible to work a range of these shifts during the week and over weekends, including bank holidays. You will be working alongside experienced staff members at all times and you will need to have 2 years UK experience in Support.
