We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care and support to children and young people who are residing in a residential facility. You will play a crucial role in creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop to their full potential.

The responsibilities include:

  • Provide round-the-clock care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Establish positive relationships with children, building trust and rapport to create a supportive environment.
  • Assist in the implementation of individual care plans, tailored to the needs and requirements of each child.
  • Support children in their daily routines,
  • Actively engage children in educational and recreational activities, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Monitor and record the progress and wellbeing of each child, reporting any concerns to the appropriate authorities.
  • Collaborate with other staff members and professionals, including social workers and healthcare professionals, to ensure the holistic care of each child.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment within the residential facility, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children, helping them to develop coping strategies and resilience.
