Salary: £34,084 - £40,252 per annum OTE
Location: Burford, Oxfordshire
DK is happy to be partnering with a national care and support provider who are looking for a Childcare Support Worker. Working in their Children’s Homes means being an integral part of a young person's day-to-day life. You'll be there for them through the highs and lows, enabling them to overcome challenges and create positive pathways for their future. The successful support worker will play a crucial role in nurturing their young people, celebrating even the smallest positive changes and fostering lasting memories.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities, including assisting with school routines, homework, and recreational activities
- Create a supportive and fun environment for the young people, engaging them in activities such as gaming, sports, movies, and outings
- Provide emotional and practical support to help the young people reach their full potential.
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individual care plans.
- Demonstrate empathy, honesty, and resilience in dealing with challenging situations
- Hold a full UK driving license with a minimum of 12 months' experience
