Cheif Technical Officer (CTO)
Location: Remote
Salary: Up to £80,000 + 10-20% Bonus + Unlimited Holidays


We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a CTO join a global digital media and events business specializing in HR. As a CTO, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and shaping the technological landscape of our HR-focused platform.

From the latest news and analysis to market trends, technology, learning, and recruitment leaders, we provide a comprehensive platform for sharing ideas, networking, and doing business. We host two major events each year along with regular HR webinars featuring top talents from the industry.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the CTO, you will take ownership of services and systems within our business, emphasizing non-technical aspects. You will manage external developers due to the absence of an in-house development team and oversee the utilization and integration of a large collection of SaaS tools, mainly off-the-shelf software. Your responsibilities will also include website development without reliance on bespoke-built software or applications and daily communication with various departments to ensure optimal performance of services. Making informed technical decisions by collaborating with different business departments will be a key aspect of your role.

Candidate Background:

We are seeking candidates with technical expertise across various departments to facilitate informed decision-making. You should be familiar with a wide range of tools including Cvent, ActiveCampaign, Overloop, Salesforce, and Microsoft Suite. A background in product-based technical roles, solution architecture, and implementation is highly desirable, along with proficiency in end-to-end web development, particularly with WordPress. Experience in line management and stakeholder management, as well as comfort working remotely and leading a remote team, are essential. Knowledge of report and data warehouse development will be an advantage.


We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 per annum, along with a bonus of 10-20% paid yearly. Additionally, we provide unlimited holidays/PTO to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
