The Role:

The primary focus of this exciting job opportunity is to bring new ideas and fresh thinking to both the finance department and entire operation. You will naturally possess lots of energy, enthusiasm and be focused on making a significant contribution, particularly at boardroom level.

Key duties include:

• Working and operating as part of the leadership team on strategy and exploring all opportunities to increase profitability.
• Full organisational restructure of the finance department to enhance improved productivity and operational performance.
• Full management responsibility of the finance department and other support functions.
• Dealing with professional advisers - banks, solicitors and accountants.
• Working closely with colleagues (at all levels) to educate and upskill…using your experience to improve performance and culture.
• Improving reporting processes to improve efficiencies and speed up timeframes.
• Project management - strive to reduce cost, improve processes and cashflow.

The Candidate:

You will be an innovative and results focused Chief Financial Officer with a thorough understanding of "selling time." The successful candidate must have a proven track record of adding value and be rational and results focused. You will be commercially focused, driven with an entrepreneurial mindset and attitude. A calm persona, gravitas and an inquisitive nature are a must.
