The Role- Chef

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 7am-2pm

Pay: £13

Address: Liverpool

Duration: On going for a few months

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be working within in a small team at the staff restaurant, you will play a vital role in supporting the culinary operations during the specified working hours. Your responsibilities will include:

Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of high-quality and meals, ensuring adherence to standardised recipes and portion sizes.

Cooking: Execute cooking tasks under the guidance of the head chef, maintaining consistency and quality in all dishes.

Kitchen Organisation: Contribute to the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, including the proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations, effective communication, and a positive working environment.

Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling, storage procedures, and sanitation practices.

Requirements:

Experience: A steady career history including experience as a chef or assistant chef is crucial

References: Provide solid professional references that highlight your skills, reliability, and teamwork.

Availability: Commitment to the specified working hours (Monday to Friday, 7 am to 2 pm)

DBS Clearance: Successful completion of an Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, ensuring eligibility to work in a staff environment.

Culinary Skills: Proficient in basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen organisation.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to pressures within a friendly team
