Working hours: Option to work 9hrs per week Saturday & Sunday 4.5hrs per day (10:30am - 3pm) or 12hrs per week Friday - Sunday (Friday 3hrs per day (11am-2pm) and Saturday & Sunday 4.5hrs per day (10:30am - 3pm))

Salary & benefits: £21,840 - £24,343 per annum for FTE (subject to pro-rata), 25 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays and 5 Diocesan closure days (subject to pro-rata).

About: The Cathedral House is looking for a Chef to provide a first-class lunchtime catering service for the resident clergy at the Cathedral Presbytery (Cathedral House). The chef will be responsible for planning menus, ordering stock/food and preparing and serving food to residents.

What we are looking for: Applicants will have a Level 2 food safety & hygiene certificate and operational experience of a catering facility including the preparation, cooking and provision of food. They will be able to work in an organised and systematic manner according to set procedures.

What you will need: The successful candidate will have excellent food preparation and cooking skills and an ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. They will need to have a good level of interpersonal skills and be prepared to deal with a wide range of people.
