About the Role: We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join a primary school’s culinary team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to students during term time. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals to students and staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Assist with food preparation and portion control.
• Follow health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service.

Requirements:

• Previous catering experience is preferred.
• Basic food hygiene knowledge.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ideally an enhanced DBS
