This is an exciting time to join Aston Martin as we’re going through a period of change that you’ll lead your designated procurement team through. You’ll need to have the courage to navigate through business change whilst demonstrating your strategic experience.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have trust in your team and be highly resilient. You should have strong people skills, emotional intelligence, and be able to read the room. Bringing people on a journey and following processes effectively will be key aspects of this role. Previous experience in a mature role within an established procurement function is essential, as well as knowledge of different procurement target models.

Working with a team of individuals in this role, you'll be responsible for building and developing category plans, engaging with stakeholders at a senior level, and translating strategy into sourcing plans. You will need to have the unity to mentor and upskill your team, as well as the ability to negotiate contracts with suppliers and evaluate negotiations.

You're not interested in a role where you are guided through every step and looking for an established and organised environment. In this role, you’d relish the opportunity to shape and build the function from the ground up and create your legacy within the company.

Your remit would be to excel in this role and be excited by the challenges it presents. This role is strategic and requires trust in your team and the courage to drive change.

The Key Requirements...

  • Ability to operate quickly and make impactful changes.
  • Previous experience of going through transformation.
  • Experience in upskilling and building a team.
  • Deliver multi-million-pound savings.
