CAMHS ADHD Practitioner

Opportunity available for ADHD Practitioner to work within a CAMHS Setting working Remotely

The team sits within a brand new Clinical Hub Setting with the role predominately responsible for assessments and associated follow ups from assessments and taking on patients who require ongoing titration from call backs and follow ups from Clinician leavers. As part of this role you will evaluate adults, and/or children, and young people for ADHD, considering potential co-occurring conditions to inform diagnostic decisions and apply clinical judgment and experience to make treatment decisions, utilising advanced skills and knowledge in managing ADHD in adults and/or children and young people. You will exercise independent professional responsibility for diagnostic decision-making within competence, whilst receiving monthly supervision from Team Leads and you will practice as a medical or non-medical prescriber (independent/supplementary prescribing) to develop and implement treatment and titration plans, ensuring physical observations are obtained and reviewed (height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse) ensuring treatment decisions are safe and in accordance with NICE guidelines and organisational policies. You will support the patient throughout their treatment journey, conducting regular follow ups for adults and/or children under your care until they have reached stability and optimisation and perform patient risk assessments and review safeguarding needs in conjunction with treatment strategies during the patient journey.

The hours for this role are Full Time with shifts being Monday to Friday

The hourly rate for this role is: £34.88 Per Hour

Essential:

  • Non Medical Prescriber
  • Proven experience within CAMHS / YP / ADHD
  • Registered with NMC or GPhC
