CAD Technician Temp works

Your new role

• National excavation and temporary works solutions provider with an impressive Design Engineering offering
• Digitally advanced - reporting into the CAD Manager, you will be responsible for producing accurate drawings of all design solutions, supporting engineers and finding efficiencies where possible in a digitally advanced and innovative market leader.
• Varied and fast-paced workload - delivering above and below ground solutions across the Energy/Waste, Highways, Water, Commercial/Industrial, Housing and Nuclear sectors; prestigious projects include Walkie-Talkie Building in London, World's Largest Offshore Windfarm, Anfield Football Stadium, A41 Major Project

• Competitive salary & package - Paying up to £40,000 salary, quarterly bonus (revenue based) paid every 1/4 for last 5 years totalling circa £3,000 per annum, annual summer salary review, professional memberships and qualifications funded, 3% standard pension, 1 day working from home per week

What you'll need to succeed

• Are you a Structural Technician interested in taking on more responsibility with calculations and design? Perhaps you're sick of delivering similar non-bespoke projects that don't make the most of your problem-solving skills? Do you like to find efficiencies in design, but your solutions aren't being heard by the engineers?
• If any of the above applies and you have at least 2 years of structural design experience, AutoCAD/Revit software skills and some UK consultancy experience producing drawings for a variety of projects and have ambitions to grow and develop through the ranks, this could be for you!
