Job Description

  • You will provide effective and visible leadership to a team of design engineers and draughtsperson
  • Drive a standardized and common approach to engineering design best practice
  • To be a active problem solver and someone who isn’t afraid to use new ideas and initiatives to challenge existing processes
  • Undertake annual staff reporting for your team, helping set objectives and assess performance
  • Ensure engineering design processes are followed with a high degree of accuracy

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Expert in Solidworks
  • Demonstrable experience in leading small design teams
  • Excellent communicator with very good listening, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas, petrochemical or power generation industries is a bonus
