£35,000 - £45,000 Salary Plus Benefits

Our client is looking for a CAD Designer to join their market leading acoustic engineering consultancy. The firm specialise in designing, manufacturing, and installing noise and vibration control equipment for the construction industry throughout the UK and Europe.

CAD Designer Requirements:

  • Experience within the construction industry, preferably in the HVAC, mechanical, or structural steelwork sectors
  • Full UK Driving License and Passport
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2024 LT
  • Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, construction practices and installation best practices
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Willingness to travel and occasional stay away from home
  • Experience with Revit (Desirable)
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

CAD Designer Duties:

  • Produce as-built drawings
  • Create general arrangement drawings
  • Coordinate design with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Attend design meetings, both on site and online
  • Complete detailed manufacturing and installation drawings
