Business Travel Consultant

A travel consultancy company are on the lookout for a Reservations Agent to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This role is fully remote, all equipment will be provided along will full training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Booking flights, car rentals and hotel reservations for business in the marine industry
• Using GDS/Galileo to find the best results possible for corporate customers
• Assist clients in planning and booking their travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, and other travel-related services.
• Provide expert advice on various destinations, cultural nuances, visa requirements, and travel safety.
• Convert inquiries into bookings by actively promoting travel packages and services.
• Tailor travel plans to meet individual preferences, budgets, and special requests.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of bookings, payments, and travel arrangements.
• Handle any travel-related issues, cancellations, or changes with professionalism and efficiency.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, travel regulations, and new destinations.

What we Need from You:

• Previous experience working in the travel industry
• Experience with GDS/Galileo highly advantageous
• Experience working within Marine or Corporate travel is a bonus
• Excellent organisational skills
• Comfortable dealing with clients at varying levels of seniority
• Excellent customer service and administrative skills
