A Business Studies Teacher is needed in an All Girls Secondary School & Mixed Sixth Form in South East London.

This Business Studies Teacher role will be full time and permanent.

Teaching for this Business Studies Teacher post will be for KS5 classes only. However, a willingness to occasionally cover and teach KS4 lessons will be advantageous.

Standard teacher responsibilities apply to this Business Studies Teacher position, which include but aren't limited to; planning lessons, assessing pupils progress and attending team meetings/parents evenings.

Salaries for this Business Studies Teacher post will be between £34514 to £51179, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

The School

An 'Outstanding' All Girls Secondary School & Mixed Sixth Form in South East London.

The school site is located within a Conservation Area. Although developments and refurbishments have taken place over time.

As a result, the school is equipped with brand new Art, Science and Sports facilities.

Ofsted noted that teachers were highly knowledgeable and keen to teach children.

They were observed to motivate pupils and nurture their desire to learn.

Teachers are confident in their pupils abilities and are always happy to provide extra support to them when needed.

Assessment and learning overall was graded as excellent across the school.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified Business Studies Teacher or experienced Business Studies Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you are a UK trained Business Studies Teacher or overseas trained Business Studies Teacher.

However, all applicants must have the following as a must in order to be considered for this position as a Business Studies Teacher:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience as a Business Studies Teacher in UK schools
