Job Purpose
The Supervision Team works within Markets Chief Administration Office, Risk & Control and covers a wide variety of activities from Supervision Policy & Governance, control design and build and oversight and management of the day-to-day Supervision framework.

This role is to lead the delivery of data management for Supervisory Controls across Markets, responsible for the ongoing monitoring and governance of data quality across alerts from multiple platforms to ensure that controls are effective. The data quality process includes Critical Data Element ("CDE") identification, creation of appropriate data quality rules, quarterly monitoring of the rules to agreed thresholds and reporting control effectiveness results within the MCA.

Key responsibilities of the role:
  • Lead the scoping, design, implementation, and ongoing governance of the Supervisory data framework.
  • Gain senior level buy-in to approaches and plans for changes to Supervisory data management.
  • Accountable for the successful delivery of change in line with overall programme objectives and timescales.
  • Identify, prioritise, and proactively manage dependencies, risks, exceptions and issues.
  • Responsibility for generating suitable KPI's and metrics for Stakeholders.
  • A point of contact and subject matter expert for internal and external data related queries
  • Collaborate with other control leaders as well as LOB control leaders and risk control leaders to build a programme consistent across regions and LOBs.
  • Responsibility for promoting a strong risk culture to ensure effective communication and collaborative partnerships.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address known gaps and deficiencies in an effective and timely manner.
  • Provide input to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the overall data risk management framework.
  • Escalate concerns and issues to senior leadership, independent risk management, management committees as appropriate.
  • Manage relationships and foster a team orientation with business heads, independent risk management, and audit.
  • Ensure activities are consistent with Citi risk frameworks, policies, and programmes and risk appetite framework.
  • Build and manage a high performing data risk management team.
  • Reinforcing the tone at the top regarding risks via risk management communications and the articulation and dissemination of key risk-related documents (i.e., statements of risk appetite, risk metrics and boundaries, and associated policies and procedures).
