Role Overview:

As a Business Manager at EMCOR UK, you will play a pivotal role in supporting senior management across several areas of the business. You will be responsible for implementing account management plans, business planning and collaborating with the team to create long term strategies and objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Supports the implementation of the key account management plan across the account
  • Participates in business planning and review processes
  • Oversight across all areas of relevant area of the business, to identify opportunities and provides PMO support as required from start to implementation
  • Performing special projects as directed or on behalf of the business leader
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term business strategies and objectives
  • Provide administration support to the Account Management Team to ensure provision of efficient and effective reporting and communication across the account.
  • Diary, Meeting & Event Preparation - proactively contribute and work collaboratively with other Business Support Administrators to provide effective cover when required to ensure senior teams have suitable support
  • Note, minute and action taking at key governance meetings
  • Discreet handling of sensitive and confidential information
  • Ensure work is performed in adherence with company policies, procedures and standards, Health & Safety legislation, and statutory requirements, in order to maintain the integrity of operational activities and the safety of employees, whilst providing a high-quality service to the Client

What you'll need:

  • Strong communication (especially written), strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Highly developed project management skills with impeccable attention to detail
  • Exceptional computational & analytical skills: ability to build data-driven slide decks and communicate data insights in a crystal-clear way
  • Proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders at the most senior of levels and manage complex projects across multiple services
  • Independent worker with a proactive, flexible approach and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan and prioritise workload
  • Enthusiastic, versatile, motivated, with a 'cando’ attitude
  • PMO (Project Management Office) skills and experience
  • Methodical, articulate, proactive and attention to detail
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • The role requires a diplomatic and discreet approach
  • Confident and outgoing with the ability to use own initiative and make decisions
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft business packages
  • Personable and approachable
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Demonstrable experience in business.
  • Previous experience in project management is desirable.
