Opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join an exciting and well known Freight and Logistics company looking to add to their team.

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company, selling Air, Sea & Road Freight.

Package and Benefits:

  • Salary £55,000 - £65,000 DOE
  • Fully expensed Company Car/ Car Allowance
  • Uncapped commission structure, paid monthly 10% of GP generated

Selling:

  • Air Freight
  • Sea Freight
  • European Road Freight - FTL/ LTL/ Groupage
  • Contract Logistics and Customs Brokerage
  • Warehousing / Fulfillment

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and sourcing new leads
  • Developing relationships with customers, on boarding, and working with Operations team to ensure successful service within agreed SOPs, meeting customers expectations
  • Working collaboratively with Operational and Product teams
  • Updating and ensuring all relevant information is captured within CRM/ Sales Management System

NOTE - My client is only considering candidates currently working for a Freight Forwarder.
