The Role:

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our committed and passionate team on a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, with the ability to identify and close new business opportunities.

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, this role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share for Clear Voice. Your contributions will have a direct impact on Clear Voice's success and growth trajectory.

As the Business Development Manager your duties would include:

  • In collaboration with the Head of Business Development, develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company objectives, targeting new markets and industries
  • Support the Head of Business Development and Sales & Marketing Director in developing a business development plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets and KPIs
  • Manage and lead business development activities to drive new business
  • Develop and maintain pipelines for business expansion whilst delivering revenue growth
  • Map organisations to engage with key stakeholders, decision makers and influencers and sell into a variety of different roles
  • Identify and maximise opportunities in companies with high annual revenue potential
  • Identify and prioritise prospective clients and leads; develop new client relationships through market research, networking events, trade shows and prospecting activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, industry influencers, and decision-makers
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and initial contact to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for clients
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of Clear Voice's solutions and services
  • Be innovative in the approach to meet our clients' needs and objectives, whilst promoting our USPs
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decision-making

The experience and skills you need:

  • Proven track record of success in selling language services to senior decision makers
  • Demonstrable long-term sales experience in acquiring NEW business in the B2B market
  • Proven track record of achieving high value sales targets
  • Superb client management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
