F30 Building Products is a supplier of high quality products within a competitive range of construction consumables for main contractors and a wide range of sub-contractors. 

We are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for the Bristol and Southwest region who will develop and monitor strategy and sales within the sales region and further generate demand for F30 products through existing consumers. Gain and maintain full area market knowledge of existing and potential customers, as well as projects. Set targets for customer segments. Ensure the account portfolios show acceptable levels of engagement to create new relationships with accounts

What does the role involve?
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sales and the forecast of accurate targets for revenue and profitability by customer. You will also be responsible for your own portfolio of key account customers as well as for reviewing postcode and customer allocation across the region annually to ensure correct distribution across the team. The role holder must have an advanced knowledge of customers and suppliers within your markets, delivering exceptional customer service and meeting customers’ expectations to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Have a good view of projects across the region ensuring effective communication between internal sales team and senior stakeholders. Align internal and technical support for External sales and manage pricing policy with pricing team and develop and maintain the F30 Building Products market in line with the regional strategy.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the F30 behaviours and promote the highest standards of business ethics and compliance with corporate requirements. Ensure that all employees are treated in a fair and equitable manner.     Engender a “Zero Harm” culture which recognises and promotes the absolute importance of health and safety and environmentally responsible behaviour. To lead by example in actively promoting and instilling a culture where health and safety of every team member is the number one priority.

The successful candidate will require:
•    Proven extensive experience and performance in sales of Construction Products for a large distributor within the Southwest region.
•    Strong industry knowledge and experience.
•    Natural leader, people manager and coach with desire to develop and get the best out of people.
•    Strong analytical and data management skills
•    Sales and customer experience
•    Understands and can articulate and coach F30 value proposition as it relates to the Sales function.
•    Ability to think forward and creatively with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
•    Good analytical skills and the ability to identify gaps and provide solutions.
•    Highly motivated and the ability to motivate a team.
•    Good coach and people developer.
•    Construction Products industry knowledge preferential (not pre-requisite).
•    Versatile approach to different levels of internal and external stakeholders.
